Children's Ministry
Children are important to us at Christ Lutheran. Jesus told the people "Let the little children come to me." - Matthew 19:14a
There are many age appropriate activitivies and educational opportunities for all children.
Children are always welcomed in Church
God has truly blessed all of us with his children in worship. As you train your child(ren) to worship we have provided several tools to assist you.
Children Bulletins every week, a new children's bulletin is handed out by our ushers. Each bulletin contains activities and Bible lessons.
Children Messages during each Sunday morning worship service there is a Children's message. Children of all ages are always invited to come forward. Parents are welcome to come up with their children, if they are very young or need extra supervision during the message.
Child Care at times child care may be necesary. Therefore, out of care and concern for your family, a staffed childcare is lovingly provided for children up to age four in the nursery or a cry room is available where you may stay with your child and listen to the service.
Ministry opportunities for our Children
Cradle Roll Ministry
Cradle Roll is a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church to support families with children from birth to 3 years of age. This ministry provides Christ with a means to keep in touch with parents of young children who have been baptized at our church or are members at Christ through a variety of materials that encourage and support the spiritual development of these infants and toddlers.
CPH’s Beginnings packets are currently being used for this ministry. Each packet contains the following materials which are mailed out to the parents at various times during their child’s first 3 years of life:
- 10 newsletters on development and care
- 13 Month Growth Calendar to track a child's growth and special "firsts"
- Audiocassette of songs
- "Here I Am" book
- "Read Me A Bible Story" book
- "Here's Jesus" book
- Three birthday postcards
- Baptism Track, to explain the scriptural basis for Baptism.
