Mission
Providing an Excellent, Christ-centered Academic Education

Goals for Preschool

1. To share the story of Jesus with each child so they have a better understanding of God’s love for us.

2. To provide a warm and supportive atmosphere which assures children they are secure and accepted and have a good learning environment.

3. To teach children language arts concepts, number concepts, and to stimulate their curiosity.

4. To develop large and small muscle skills through various activities.

5. To teach children about God’s natural world and everyday familiar things, and to acquaint them with people, places, and books.

Hours to meet your family’s needs
We are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.  The school day starts at 8 a.m. and ends at either 11:30 a.m. (half day) or 3:00p.m. (full day).  Extended care is available until 6 p.m.  Program options are available for 3 or 5 days a week.  Talk with our director for more information.

Curriculum
Our curriculum includes Adventures in Learning, a state-approved curriculum for Early Childhood.  Preschool subjects are taught weekly in thematic units.  Preschool 4 uses the Trophies Reading and Houghton Mifflin Math Curriculum.  Click for more information about our curriculum

Tuition
Options are available for paying monthly, by semester, or annually.  The preschool year runs 10 months, from mid-August until the end of May.  Please contact the school office or Shawn Olsen solsen@clutheran.org to schedule an appointment to visit our campus and discuss our various preschool programs.
