Lutheran Camp on Petit Jean
Lutheran Camp on Petit Jean sits atop beautiful Petit Jean Mountain amongst an abundance of unmarred woods, ravines, streams, springs, spectacular views, and interesting geological formations preserved almost as God created them so many centuries before. Situated on twenty-seven wooded acres adjacent to the historic Trinity Lutheran Church, we have an idyllic place for groups and families to meditate, to study, to relax, and to restore the soul.

Basket of Hope
Basket of Hope is a national non-profit organization which offers support and encouragement for children and families who are facing a life-threatening health crisis. We work with the Pastoral department of the local hospitals including Arkansas Children's Hospital, Baptist Health, and St. Vincent’s. Our brochures are offered to patients admitted to the intensive care units. Families who are interested contact our coordinator and a "basket of hope" is delivered by a trained volunteer.
The baskets are for children from birth through 15 years of age. The baskets contain Bibles, inspirational books for the children and their parents, a CD player and inspirational CD, videos, journals, age-appropriate toys and games, stuffed animals and the like. Our volunteers visit with the family and the child's name is placed on a prayer list.
The Basket of Hope program arrived in Little Rock in 2001. Since that time we have delivered hundreds of baskets to children. Each basket retails for approximately $150.00. We are supported financially solely by fund-raising and donations.
