Music Ministry
At Christ Lutheran Church, we strive to praise God through a variety of types of music. We offer a hymn-based traditional worship each Sunday morning at 8:00 am, and a contemporary style worship service each Sunday at 10:30 am.
Worship Choir meets every Tuesday from 7:00-8:15 PM in the music room. Everyone is encouraged to join us in making joyful music to our Lord. We need more singers! Anyone in high school or older is welcome to come and sing regardless of musical experience. Thank you to everyone who has already joined the choir.
Praise Team is looking for talented musicians to fill spots in the 10:30 Worship Praise Teams. Have you lead a secret life as a screamin’ electric guitar player, a finger-pickin’ bass player, or beat-givin’ drummer? We are especially looking for those instruments! Do you have good experience with violin, flute, or any other instruments? Singers are needed, too!
We also provide opportunities for our children to share their love of music – offering children’s choirs and intermediate and advanced bands. Our Wednesday morning chapel service each week is led by a Praise Band consisting of students and adults together.
Our music is directed by Christ Lutheran Church’s Worship Director, as well as Christ Lutheran School’s music teachers.
