Advent Services and Suppers
Our mid-week Advent services at Christ Lutheran Church are held each Wednesday during the Advent Season. Our theme is “Voices from the Edge: Advent Encounters Preparing the Way.” An informal supper will be held from 5:30 to 6:15 pm in the Fellowship Hall prior to the Advent services on Wednesdays – December 7, December 14, and December 21. The menu is as follows:
Dec 7 - Taco night
Dec 14 - Italian night
Dec 21 - BBQ night
All proceeds go towards sending our youth on a Joplin Mission Trip and the National Youth Gathering. Please make plans to attend this time of food and Advent fellowship!
Parent's Night Out - Christmas is coming!
Give yourself some time to prepare or just take a break, and bring your children to Parents Night Out Dec 10th from 3:30p-9p. The CLC Youth Group will be hosting a night of games, Christmas crafts, dinner, and a movie. Ages 1 yr - 6th grade. Cost is $20 each child, $30 for two siblings, or $40 for 3+ siblings. Lutheran Midtown Gardens
Please support the Lutheran Midtown Gardens by taking a magnet/ornament from the "Garden-Tree." Each watering can has a suggested donation amount on the back - the ornament is yours to take home. Please make checks payable to Christ Lutheran Church and add Lutheran Midtown Gardens in the memo field. Please support this outreach ministry - "Come Grow With Us!"
Registration is On-Going at Christ Lutheran School

Ministry Transition
Our Circuit Counselor, Pastor Mark Carnahan of Faith Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village, is working to provide ministers each Sunday to lead worship, a vacancy Pastor, and will be advising the Senior Pastor Call Committee. Please keep him in your prayers as he helps to guide and serve. For non-emergency pastoral needs, please call the church office. For pastoral emergencies, please call Pastor James Walter of Grace Lutheran Church at 501-240-7729 and when convenient notify the church office. The BSL will address administrative tasks normally addressed by the senior pastor, please direct those issues to Greg Warren or Patrick Herrera.
Don’t Overlook the Box Tops!
Cut out the Box Tops from your groceries each week and bring them to church to help support our school ministry. Place them in the envelope on the school bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Check out the Box Top website for specific items which qualify: BoxTops4Education
