Reach Out
This program is designed to assist a specific population of children with learning disabilities in grades 2-8. Reach Out provides a modified learning environment for children with a diagnosed learning disability. Individual educational programs are designed to meet the needs of eligible students.
C.L.U.E.
Christ Lutheran Unique Education, or C.L.U.E. is a program tailored for gifted and talented students. This program provides additional challenging activities such as special interest projects, creative problem solving, and group interaction. A referral committee reviews student applications and determines eligibility based on test scores, scholastic work, and teacher/ parent recommendations.
Band
Students in grades 4 – 8 may enroll in the CLS band program. A Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Band are offered. The band program provides musical instruction on the various instruments of the concert band. Many parents provide their own instruments, however, a limited number of school owned instruments are available for use. Students are expected to be in attendance at all practices and when the bands perform in programs or church services outside of the school day.
