I Love CLS

  • I love CLS because I get to share my faith with my students.  I am also able to bring the gift of worship to my classroom by playing guitar and singing songs with my students.  My favorite subject to teach is reading.  I love bring stories to life for my students through interactive activities.
  • Another of my favorite moments each week is chapel.  It’s incredible to hear the voices of 200 + kids joining together to worship our Creator.

Philosophy of Teaching:

  • Each child learns in different ways.  It is my goal to reach each of those students through different methods of teaching.
  • I also strive to go above and beyond that which is required of the Arkansas frame works.  For example, I take pleasure in teaching my students Spanish vocabulary, as this is a rapidly progressive language in our country.  This also gives them a head start for classes that they will take later on.  Another fun goal I like to reach with my students is to learn the shapes of all the states including the states capitals.
  • Finally, my “umbrella” philosophy is “Do it all to the Glory of God.”
